I liked 1 night in this property. I got varied and satisfactory breakfast with nice vegan options incl soy and even vegan yogurts, for example. My room was fairly quiet and clean with a nice view of the harbour, had smoke detectors for safety measures

location
it`s old in a bad way. it needs some updates. We had a "deluxe room" which didn`t have air con.

Very good location - and excellent breakfast with helpful staff throughout. Wonderful view of boats and fjord, with south facing balcony.
I think the bedroom verandas are in some need of repair, are obviously hard to keep clean, and the concrete is a bit "tired" looking and ill-fitting. As it is a sea-front hotel, there is a fair amount of late-night noise and traffic. This might annoy some people

The rooms at Hotel Klubben are cozy and comfortable, making you feel right at home. They have everything you need, from tea and coffee facilities to a spacious work desk. The private bathroom with a shower is a great perk. As a budget traveler, I couldn't ask for more!
Personally, I found the minibar in the room to be a bit overpriced. But hey, to each their own!

Very good overnight stop for a business trip. I would not spend more than a couple of nights at this hotel because it is out of town but if you are on a short stop its position near the motorway is great.

A perfect property, clean, best possible location by historical landmarks. Rich and great breakfasts with many eco products. - Extraordinary service-minded and competent staff always on hand. - Location just next door to the harbour, and the walking street, and all the local bars.

Nice hotel, the idea of having queen room was great. The restaurant was great with good breakfast here, I had excellent dishes. The price was gbp 967.

Good service in the restaurant, due to a very nice young waiter from Madeira. :-)
Very much noise from the street, and very hot in the room. I didn't sleep very well that night!

The view from my room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful harbor. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, friendly and always willing to help. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a supermarket nearby and a promenade just across the street with a stunning view.
I was a bit disappointed that there was no kettle in the room to make a hot drink, and having to go to the corridor for hot water was a bit inconvenient. the bathroom may not be suitable for people with disabilities, although the rest of the hotel is wheelchair-friendly.
